Quick day trip to the Gunks. We started on City Streets. I led up to the crux, but couldn't find the key jug. It was way left, but I never saw it. Kept going for the next jug up, which was totally out of reach. After taking a short fall (my first ever on a screamer... it didn't activate), I came down and Guy led the pitch. He found the jug and sent easily. I cleaned the route and still fell a few times trying to get the move. Next we climbed Proctoscope. I led it with one hang at the crux because I'm a coward. Then I cleaned the route so Guy could lead it. He took a good fall at the crux but went on to finish the pitch. Since our rope was through the Feast of Fools bolts, we decided to TR the route. I flailed at the crux and was too tired to go to the top. Guy didn't want to waste energy on the pitch, so I prussiked to clean. Then we took a look at Double Clutch. I led the starting traverse up to the piton, then turned around and came right back to the start. Wasn't feeling it. We finished the day with Guy leading and me cleaning Apoplexy.
