Day trip to the Gunks. Yamin and I climbed Pink Laurel and Strictly From Nowhere. Then we met up with Gretchen and climbed Shockley's Ceiling. Went back to Ithaca with Nico, Dave, Erin and Chris with a stop for dinner in Ellenville.

The Gunks was as packed as I have ever seen it. We had to park at the Visitor's Center, and we didn't arrive all that late. Noobs were everywhere. I saw a guy rappelling with his ATC Guide inverted. Not on the low friction side, but fully inverted with the keeper cord sticking up in the air. I mentioned it to him and he said he would tell his friend (who I assume was "teaching" him how to rappel) when he got to the ground.
