My first outdoor climbing experience. Toproping at Peter's Kill with Tom and Deb.

I had this big hole where a chunk of my hand used to be. I was playing stick with the boys and Lance got a bit of my hand between his teeth and the stick. He didn't realize he had it and started pulling. It was a pretty big puncture + tear. Bled for four days, but I taped it up and went climbing just two days after the incident. Probably should have had stitches, but I've never had them for a wound and wasn't about to start. There is still a scar and a big knot under the skin where it healed.
