Sunday Feb 3^rd

Start first day of skiing - Pressed the Glass. Started w/ Henrik, Dean, Karen (Dean's friend), Jeff, Steve, Dave, Bob.

Afternoon skiing w/ Dave, Steve, Jeff. Dave stopped early.

 Danny - "I'm not paying a dollar a minute to talk to Phil."

 Superbowl Rams vs Pats - New England wins 20-17. I don't win $150 for total points >= 47. I don't win for StL-0 NE-7.  Filmed fumble & touchdown return called back due to penalty.

 Finish spades game - Dave & I get stomped.

 I am inspector "Gadget" with digital camera & cables, cell phone, Palm Pilot, video camera.

Mark uses my toothbrush, but starts boiling it to sanitize it. Next morning he uses Adam's so he doesn't feel left out.

Stacy, Phil, Jeff use Phil's new AOL on his laptop. Accidentally start overhearing my phone call.

Adam - "I'm not sure if I am going to need anything that's in my pants tonight."

Dave - "Trees and moguls - 2 great tastes that go great together."

 Monday Feb 4^th

 Press The Glass - Day 2 - Me, Steve, Dave, Henrik, Jeff (on skis), Dean, Bob. Went all the way over to Pony Express. Some tough blacks. Great sunny weather, but cold at times. Also some crust & ice. Need some fresh powder!

 Ski with Billy Kidd. Here are his general tips.

• Bend knees and hold arms out.
• Keep weight on outside ski.
• Point inside arm downhill. This keeps skis on edge. Also allows you to plant that pole to turn the other way.
• Don't turn with your shoulders.

Tip for skiing moguls: Get on top of mogul, plant pole on top of mogul, swing around with lower body, because most of ski is not touching ground.

 Jeff thinks Billy is bitter about only winning silver in 1964 Olympics. He goes home to his trailer park home and drinks to forget.
 Steve's theory is that Billy repeats same stuff over and over again to limit class size. Dean thinks he doesn't have any other material.

 Adam's Birthday Dinner at Steamboat Smokehouse - Everybody except Jeff. Food was good. Iced tea ($1.50) and sliced brisket sandwich w/ mashed potatoes (6.95).

 Mark - "Jason Sehorn is so damn good looking, I'd probably do him."

 Mark - "I've had buffalo sausage"

 Walking back into house, Dan sees himself walking through door in mirror. Actually it was his Jacket Buddy walking in through opposite door.

 Grape nuts cereal breakfast - Poured last 1/4 cup in sink and switched to Cheerio's.

 Third Day Of Skiing - Me, Dave, Steve, Bob, Henrik, Phil.

Jeff, June, Stacy go on photo hike.

Dean takes full day lesson.

Adam takes day off.

Mark takes morning off.

 Danny - "Phil, do you feel better this year than last?" Phil - "Actually I've made an equipment adjustment. I've got my pants unbuttoned now."

Henrik sleepwalking incident - Henrik dreams that he is becoming a soft girly man. So in his sleep he yells "No!" Then he tries to choke Mark. Then he starts doing chin-ups.

Wednesday Feb 6^th

Breakfast - Pancakes & Bacon.

 1st day of boarding - Start w/ Jeff, Dean, Henrik, Phil. 1/2 hour break.
Then board w/ Jeniffer. Stop early for Springs.

 Steamboat Hot Springs - Me, Bob, Dave, Adam. $25 per person. Teepee still not heated. 3 temp pools - 104 to 106, 100 to 102, 88.

 Watch Passat Video 2nd time - Bob says this is good info no matter what car you own.

 Spades Game - Me & Dave vs Steve & Jeniffer.  Jeff replaces me.

 Dinner - Swiss Chalet

Note from Phil – "Don't trust Dan with my coaster supply".

 June is firm with Phil about not shooting paper footballs.

 Mark - "Adam farts in his sleep." Stacy - "Adam farts when he is awake too."

 Thursday Feb 7^th

 2nd Day of Boarding - Me, Jeff, Jeniffer. Use Adam's lift ticket. Use Chapstick SPF30 on nose to prevent sunburn. Jeff does too.

 Lunch - Grilled cheese sandwich. Steve & Henrik have giant hunks of brownies.

 Afternoon - start out with everyone, then board by myself. Huffman's, High Noon, Flintlock, Flintlock, High Noon, Vagabond.

 Grocery shopping.

 Jeniffer cooks dinner. - Angel hair pasta, Meat sauce, salad, french bread. White wine. Ice cream.

After dinner Pop Tart.

 Great Dalmutti - Stacy & Jeniffer were almost exclusively Peons.

 Friday Feb 8^th

 Breakfast - Bacon & Toast

3rd Day of Snowboarding - Board w/ Adam. Arrogant Bastard Ale Boarders light up on gondola.

 It starts snowing lightly. Then more heavily at lunchtime.

 Henrik's Cowboy Coffee ritual - ski into the trees.

 Aftemnoon - Board w/ Jeff & Jeniffer. Cowboy Coffee (bad for boarders), Buddy's Run, Vagabond.

 At 3:27 PM I officially become a snowboarder by running into a lady skiing & knocking off a ski.

 Saturday Feb 9^th

Hook up laptops - Laptop lane is briefly rejuvenated when we hook up Jeniffer's computer to Phil's with a crossover ethernet cable.

Instructions:
Go to Network under Control Panel.
Choose correct TCPIP Ethernet card.
Type in similar IP addresses, but make last digit unique (such as 10.206.2.1).
Enable file sharing (this may not be necessary).
Choose shared folder and make it sharable. Give it a name for sharing.
On other computer, Map this as a network drive using path such as:
//10.206.2./"shared name"

Push all 3 cars uphill - Jeff is Mr. Winter

 Lady in Outback honks. Phil gives her goodbye greeting.

 Airport in Hayden - Get there 2 hours early. 45 minute line to check bags. Pizza at snack bar. Last minute CD burning.

 In Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Dave tries to corner the market on burgers, selling them for $8.00 a piece.
