Beautiful weather! We started with Son of Easy O, one of my all time favorite climbs. Then on to Thin Slabs. We did the direct start. On the third pitch, I set out to do the direct finish. Intimidating! I had to back off this 5.7+ which is silly considering I have led 5.10b at the Gunks. Actually, I'm pretty sure I can make the move out to the arete, but there is no pro except for manky pins. If those blow, I smack back into the corner. No thanks. I'll get back on it one of these days. Just need to remember to bring a screamer or two for the pins.

After that adventure, we moved on to Dennis, which Adam led. Then Adam led Black Fly. Finally, we finished the day with my lead of Handy Andy (be sure to traverse low, with your hands in the first horizontal). Excellent day!
