Very hot weekend at the Gunks. Got there Friday evening and set up at camp slime. Saturday morning everything was wet and brutally hot. We struggled up Te Dum then walked to split rock for swimming. Once the sun was off the cliff, Jen and I climbed Disneyland while Guy and Jake went to climb Horseman. It was still really hot, so when we reached the top of Disneyland we walked back to slime and ate dinner in the shade. Sunday we started on Baskerville Terrace which was like a solar oven. Then we went swimming. After that we were going to give Son of Easy O a try, but a big thunderstorm drowned those plans. We got some ice cream and drove back to Ithaca. There was even a trip theme song... no, I'm not going to tell you what it was.

Every time I go to the Gunks I run into someone I know, but this weekend was crazy. In two days we ran into Bridget and Doug; Brian and Dave; Ryan and Steve; Lauren; Nick and Austin; Kyle and Jeanine; and Cloe.
