I hate lexan utensils. My spoon broke (eating ramen!) and my fork and knife have melted. I've been told that a bamboo spoon is the ultimate in rugged eating-ware which won't melt or scratch my pots. Will have to give it a try.    City of Rocks, Idaho -- 7/19/2008
