Some really cool jade artifacts. Costa Rica has no known source of true mineralogical jade (the nearest is in Guatemala), yet a huge number of jade artifacts have been unearthed. So either all that jade was imported or there exists a local source of jade which has yet to be rediscovered.    San Jose, Costa Rica -- 1/22/2010
