Rock Climbing --- 10/5/2011 - 10/7/2011 --- Gunks

Met up with Amy and her friend Joe for a few days at the Gunks. Started the trip with my lead of Raunchy, Amy's lead of Gory Thumb, and swinging leads on Madame G's. Joe had been at Lost City all day, but the three of us met up at camp slime for an awesome dinner.

The next day Joe led Bonnie's Roof with the regular finish. I had forgotten how fun and photogenic it is to do the regular finish... especially on a gorgeous day near the peak of leaf season. We finished the day with Amy leading Directissima and me leading the final High E pitch.

On Friday, Amy and I climbed Modern Times then had to depart toward our next destination (RRG for her, Dacks for me). I was excited to find that the crux pitch of Modern Times really felt easy. Like maybe it actually is 5.8 and not sandbagged.
