Rock Climbing --- 9/18/2015 - 9/20/2015 --- Gunks
Merh! Sure glad we didn't climb "Rampaging Velociraptor"
Gunks staff training. Climbed Snake, saw a snake. Climbed Frog's Head, saw a frog's head (toad's head, but close enough).
Saturday Val and I climbed The Last Will Be First, Snake, V3, Galactic Hitchhiker (new climb for me), Minty, and Dirty Gerdie. Crazy things for the day: One large copperhead. One guy using a laser pointer to direct a climber to specific holds.
Sunday I climbed Frog's Head with Val and Cathy. Finished the day with Phoebe and Ken's Crack. Crazy things for the day: Another copperhead. Two bros climbing Laurel despite a very clear sign at the base warning of a huge wasp nest. Leader was swarmed and had to lower off his top piece.
