Rock Climbing --- 9/27/2015 --- Eagle Falls
Directions to the river crossing, because people ask me these things:
From the trailhead parking lot, take the wooden steps down under the large
pipe. Hike upstream for seven minutes. 30 seconds past the 6' high waterfall,
rock hop across the small creek. Crest the ridge and drop down to the main
creek. Cross here on a plank and rocks. You will be at the cliff, about 20'
upstream of The Eagle Has Landed.
I led Naked Truth and Sthilwater. I climbed Soft Maple Times, LM, The Eagle Has Landed, Dobsonfly (and a second time to clean anchors) and Adsit's Arete.
Paula and Alicia both got first trad leads (achievement unlocked!) and we all enjoyed watching the stunning lunar eclipse during the drive home.
