Went to the Nears on Thursday. Intermittent rain interfered with our progress but we still managed to climb Birdland & Birdcage (my first time ever getting Birdcage cleanly, I think), Yellow Ridge, Disneyland, Gelsa, and then Birdland again. Camille didn't get on the second pitch either time due to rain. That last storm was a massive thunderstorm and everything was completely soaked. My shoes would have stayed dry but for the microfractures they received earlier in the day.

Friday the cliff quickly dried and we were able to climb Jackie, Betty, Strictly, Ribless (to booty a locker I spotted from Strictly) and finished the trip on Anguish which was a new climb for me. Really fun! Bring a .1 cam to back up the sketchy piton at the crux of the third pitch. Wish I had brought a small cam because those move were hard!

Even with all the rain, we managed 22 pitches in two days. I'd say that makes quota.
