5/23 The trip started with a bike ride thanks to Brent's loaner. I pretended not to be tired after 20 miles in the desert at a good pace.
5/25 Drove to Tahquitz and climbed Fingertrip. It was very wet. And the forecast sucked for the next few days. We drove to Joshua Tree.
5/26 The Bong, Overhang Bypass, Beginner's Three
5/27 Felix, Little Brown Jug, Unnamed, Hello Kitty, Nine Lives, B-1
5/28 Right On, Orange Flake
5/29 Sail Away, Wild Wind, Fote Hog. Ran into Kathy who I climbed with many years ago in RRG (and have photos to prove it).
5/30 Departing JTree we went to the nearby Remington hot springs... which was very meh. Maybe if the water level was lower and the river pools weren't washed out.
5/31 On to The Needles, starting at Dome Rock. We climbed Tree Route and finished before the afternoon rain.
6/1 Anti-jello Crack. The gear and the holds are all there in the crux dihedral even though it looks completely blank.
6/2 Drove down to Voodoo Dome. Started on Summer Sojourn. Ironically, we climbed p5-7 in a massive rain/hail/thunder storm.
6/3 White Punks on Dope
6/4 Rest Day: Trail of 100 Giants
6/5 In to the main Needles campground. Or as I call it, the Weedles campground! We climbed Poof, which was pretty crappy.
6/6 Igor Unchained. Which was pretty awesome!
6/9 Won the lottery and got a space in Camp 4. After settling in, we went to Manure Pile and climbed After Six. Serendipitously ran into Dustin and got to hang out with him, Steven, May, Adam, and Carrie for a few days.
6/10 Harry Daley Route, Variations on a Theme
6/11 Munginella to Selaginella. Hot day but we got a decent amount of shade. Horrific rope drag on the third pitch of Selaginella. Giant sierra mountain kingsnake at the top.
6/13 The Grack
6/14 Heading out of the Valley we stopped at Knob Hill where we climbed Pot Belly, Pot Belly Left, Just for Starters, and Sloth Wall
6/16 On to Lover's Leap. Climbed The Line (that climb is the shit, yo!) and Bear's Reach.
6/17 Started the day with Hospital Corner. Joined by Alex for the afternoon and the three of us climbed It's Better With Bacon.
6/18 Surrealistic Pillar to Corrugation Corner, with an interlude on Power Lust waiting for traffic to clear on CC.
6/19 Ham and Eggs, Unnamed just left of H&E, Prosciutto
6/21 Drove to City of Rocks and met up with Emily. Climbed Carol's Crack in a snowstorm.
6/22 Conceptual Reality, Columbian Crack, Tres Amigos, Hieronymous Bosch, Rye Crisp, Bloody Fingers
6/23 Felspfeiler, Theater of Shadows
6/24 Too Much Fun, Return of the Bumblie, New York is not the City, Lost Arrow Spire
6/25 Animal Cracker, Norma's Book, Thin Slice, Solstice
6/27 Checking out Little Cottonwood Canyon for the first time. Camping is tricky, but the canyon is gorgeous. We climbed Pentapitch + Sasquatch, and then climbed Neuromancer which was stupid hard.
6/29 A stop in Vedauwoo on the way home for an intro class in offwidth! Cornelius, Easy Jam, Pretty, Baldwin's Chimney, Mother 1, Lower and Upper Slot
That's it. 137 pitches of climbing. Time to head home.

It was very clearly communicated! You are delusional! Stop taking hallucinogens! Get an education! Sorry, but I have some boundaries, and things like this lead to exhaustion. I'm so discouraged. They should have been cautioned against it. This is the dialogue that goes through my mind when I read stupid signs. When will we be inoculated against stupidity?
