Ice Climbing, Skiing --- 12/18/2019 - 12/24/2019 --- New Hampshire, Adirondacks
Backcountry snowboarding with Jackie and Adam on the Sherburne trail up Mt. Washington. A brutally cold day and challenging conditions. I walked the last 1/2 mile down the trail.
Next day was a bit warmer as Jackie and I climbed single pitch ice at Cathedral.
Warmer still the next day Gretchen, Adam and I went XC skiing on the mostly groomed trails at Great Glen.
On the way home, a detour to the Adirondacks had me climbing with Katie and Adam on Hot Shot. Temperatures were a solid 50F warmer than what I experienced while snowboarding just five days earlier.
