Paddling, Climbing, Biking --- 8/31/2020 --- Adirondacks, Pennsylvania

Got to the mouse infested parking lot at Low's Lake late Monday night. Set camp at the first site down the river, then enjoyed a full moon paddle. Tuesday paddled and carried to the western end of Low's Lake. Played on the floating bog. Got a chance to relax in the evening. Back to the car and mouse hell Wednesday night. Survived mouse hell (barely!) and paddled to Roger's Rock on Thursday. Used Black Point beach as a free put-in and paddled the mile to Roger's Rock. Climbed Little Finger with the direct finish on the third pitch. Really is the best pitch of climbing I've done on the slide. Finished the trip Friday going to Shelving Rock. Climbed WMD, Shock and Awe, Caribou Barbie (onsight!), and Obama Mama.

After eight hours at home to sweep mouse poop, remove canoe and climbing gear, load biking gear, and even sleep a bit... I was off to Pennsylvania. Rode with Jay and Anna at Lackawanna State Park. Then got ice cream and went to P&R Discounts for some amazing deals (and wished I hadn't just had ice cream so I could justify the $0.79 Ben & Jerry's). Spent the night in Jess's back yard. Then off to Gretchen and Adam's baby shower (with a quick stop on the way at the other P&R... I might need a 12-step program). Finished the trip with a solo ride around Black Moshannon State Park. Then back to Ithaca to collapse for 24 hours.
