From the ferry, we went out to the main road and turned left on N67. The first real right, after 1 km, leads up to a four-way crossroad in 1.3 km. Turn left, and in 5 km go left on R473, which takes you into Kilrush. This worked out great, featuring wild raspberries and even a little sunlight. If we had looked at the map more thoroughly before starting out, instead of taking N67 we would have gone right out of the ferry onto R486 and taken the first left--the first left off of that is back on our route.    Co Clare, Ireland -- 7/14/2014
