The Black Fort is one of three Bronze Age fortresses on Inishmor, which are basically 4 concentric circular walls made out of a whole lot of small stones. They're all built in impressive locations, due to strategery, but also beneficial in their modern role as tourist attractions. This one is on some sea cliffs. The wavy line way at the end in the middle of the photo is the fort. The Black Fort in particular is in poor repair, so it isn't nearly as interesting to look at as the other two we saw.
